Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • Have you prayed about your pledge and Make Room generosity? When we ask God, He answers.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1:5

  • It isn’t about equal giving, but equal sacrifice. What does sacrificial generosity look like in your own life? Or in other words, if you sacrificed or gave something up, how would God be able to use your sacrifice to build His church?

Sacrifice can look different for everyone.

    • Cancel your Netflix subscription = $16.99/month

    • Skip coffee shops for a month = $50/month

    • Cut down on eating out = $150/month

    • Give away a percentage of your income greater than the tithe (10%)

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”  Proverbs 11:25

  • Once we are able to break ground, we anticipate the building taking 15-18 months to complete. Like with any building project, this is an estimated timeline and is subject to change.

  • This is entirely dependent on Make Room giving. We have already secured the land and have an architect and builder in place. We will go as fast or as slow as God directs and allows us.

  • We’d encourage you to view your pledge as the total you are committed to give to Make Room regardless of how long it takes the building to be completed. On the pledge portal, you can select a timeline and frequency of giving that works best for you.

  • Yes! Even if you plan to give via check or other physical monies, knowing your pledged commitment helps us best steward what God is doing.
